 FAQs

  • Yoga isn't just about flexibility or fancy poses. It's a practice that connects your body and mind, helping you find strength, balance, and clarity both on and off the mat. In our fast-paced world, yoga offers a rare opportunity to slow down, breathe intentionally, and discover more about yourself with each practice. Whether you're seeking physical benefits, stress relief, or simply a moment of peace in your day, yoga meets you exactly where you are and grows with you, one breath at a time.

  • If you're just beginning your yoga journey, we recommend starting with our Slow Flow, Restore, or Chakra Flow classes. These provide a supportive environment to learn the basics at a comfortable pace. That said, all of our other modality classes are also designed to be accessible for beginners while offering a more workout-focused experience if you're looking for exercise options. The best approach? Try a few different styles with our Intro Offer and see what resonates with you.

  • We offer a diverse range of classes to fit your mood and energy level on any given day. Our yoga classes include Slow Flow, Flow, Elevated Flow, Restore, and Chakra Flow—each creating a different experience when you step on your mat. Beyond yoga, we also feature Mat Pilates, Barre, and Fitness classes to round out your movement options. Feeling energetic? Try Elevated Flow or Fitness. Need to unwind? Restore might be perfect. This variety allows you to tune into what your body needs in the moment while building strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. Check out detailed descriptions for each class at www.driftandoak.com/classes.

  • To ensure everyone enjoys a peaceful and focused experience, we invite you to arrive at least 10 minutes before class begins (our doors open 15 minutes prior). Please leave your shoes in the rack outside and keep your phone silenced with your belongings. Once class begins, we maintain a quiet practice space—this means no talking, whispering, or creating audible or visual distractions that might interrupt others' focus and experience. For the safety and privacy of all students, our doors lock at the start of class, so timely arrival is essential. Photography or filming during class is not permitted without prior approval. After your practice, we kindly ask that you wash any borrowed props before returning them. This community care helps us maintain a clean, respectful space for everyone's journey.

  • For regular classes, please cancel at least 3 hours before class time to avoid any penalty. No-shows or late cancellations will incur a $25 charge. For workshops, we require 24 hours notice for cancellations, otherwise a $40 fee applies. These policies help us manage our class sizes and respect our instructors' time and preparation.

  • Membership is a monthly autopay option that requires 30 days notice to cancel. It offers the best value per class for those who practice regularly. Our class packs provide 10 classes to use over a full year, giving you flexibility if your schedule varies or you practice less frequently. Both options allow you to experience all our class offerings, but membership typically works best for consistent practitioners while class packs suit those with changing schedules.
