our story.

Drift + Oak Yoga Studio was born from a desire to create more than just a place to practice. It was built to be a sanctuary - a space where movement, breath, and presence come together in a way that feels grounding and real.

Founded by Bianca Fantoni, the studio sits inside the restored Medway Mills, a setting that mirrors our philosophy: strength and fluidity, history and renewal.

Bianca’s path to opening Drift + Oak began long before the doors opened. After navigating a significant health scare in her teens and years of managing anxiety, yoga became a steady anchor - a practice that offered both resilience and regulation. What began as personal healing evolved into more than 500 hours of advanced study and a vision for community.

When the studio where she once practiced closed - followed shortly by a global pandemic - the need for meaningful connection felt undeniable. Drift + Oak emerged from that moment, built intentionally as a place where people could gather, grow, and feel supported.

The space is also a quiet tribute to Bianca’s grandmother, Debbie (Mare), whose encouragement first led her to yoga. Mare’s legacy of strength and steady support continues to shape the heart of this studio.

At Drift + Oak, we honor the body’s intelligence. Our classes are designed to help students move with awareness, build strength sustainably, and reconnect to themselves in a way that extends beyond the mat. Our instructors are deeply committed to continued education and lead with authenticity, warmth, and skill.

Beyond daily classes, we offer immersive workshops and teacher trainings designed to deepen both practice and community.

This is a space to root. To expand. To return to yourself.

our founder, Bianca Fantoni.

Bianca teaches from a place of deep respect for the body’s intelligence. Her approach moves beyond rigid alignment and into awareness- guiding students to listen inward, trust sensation, and cultivate a relationship with their practice that feels honest, sustainable, and embodied.

A lifelong student, Bianca continues to refine her education. Most recently, she completed her second 300 hour advanced training with Aligned Yoga Academy, led by Briohny Smith. It was an experience that further shaped her approach to intelligent sequencing, embodied strength, and sustainable movement. Her broader studies in functional anatomy and modern yoga philosophy, including work with Eion Finn, Leslie Kaminoff, and Amy Matthews, inform the layered and thoughtful way she teaches.

After more than a decade of dedicated practice, Bianca founded Drift + Oak Yoga Studio and created its 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training program - a space designed not only to prepare teachers, but to deepen practitioners. She mentors trainees with clarity, steadiness, and care, encouraging them to develop their own voice rather than replicate hers.

Outside the studio, Bianca is a mother of three, a son and twin daughters, and brings that same grounded, nurturing presence into every container she leads. Whether guiding a class, mentoring a trainee, or holding space for community, her work is rooted in creating environments where people feel supported, challenged, and genuinely seen.

At the heart of her teaching is one simple belief: your body already holds wisdom. The practice is learning how to listen.
